I think you should fix this sentence: “Colin Powell brings a dearth of knowledge on the military and has a history with many of our military leaders.” “Dearth” means scarcity!

42% of likely voters would be more likely to vote for Obama if Colin Powell were his running mate. That is a bigger boost than any of the other possible choices polled would have.

It would destroy McCain, he might quit at that point. But sadly it probably won’t occur, Wes Clark would be another choice that might have a similar effect, although he isn’t as well known.
